Join HCSCC Programming Director Markus Krueger and the History On Tap regulars at Junkyard Brewery on the first Monday of the month at 6pm (October through April) to see presentations on topics ranging from local moonshiners to stories of the supernatural.

Special Junktober Presentation Thursday, September 23, 2021, 6PM To kick off Junkyard's Oktoberfest celebration, Markus talks about the influence of German-American brewers, saloon owners, and Prohibition-era bootleggers in Clay County.
Wild West Moorhead Monday, October 4, 2021, 6PM This special presentation on the 150th anniversary of Moorhead's founding explores its origins as a Wild West town. Hear Markus discuss how Clay County's government was formed in the aftermath of a saloon gunfight.
Moorhead's Saloon Era Monday, November 1, 2021, 6PM When North Dakota outlawed alcohol, all the saloons moved to Moorhead. Join Markus for a tour of Moorhead's saloons in the years between 1890 and 1915, when the town was called the "Wickedest City in the World."
Fargo-Moorhead's 1800s Breweries Monday, December 6, 2021, 6PM The founding generation of Fargo-Moorhead boasted three breweries in 1889. Where are they? What happened to them? And, most importantly, what was on tap?
