The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, OH, has organized this biennial competition for 45 years. Commenting on the innovation and diversity of Quilt National, Leah Magyary, Executive Director of The Dairy Barn Arts Center, says, “Throughout its history, Quilt National has showcased quilts that play with light, space, color, and technology, allowing new masterpieces to emerge and blossom.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation; Minnesota Quilters; The Arts Partnership with the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo; the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation, and the Alex Stern Family Foundation
