Bedtime Stitches

3rd-Floor Hall Cases

 The Bedtime Stitches exhibition is a unique opportunity for the public to see the detail and 3-dimensional quality of the actual hand-stitched artwork, which was photographed and printed in the book MY BED: Enchanting Ways to Fall Asleep around the World which focuses on the way people from different cultures sleep according to where they are in the world.

October 15, 2022 1-5pm
Dr. Sandra Gordon will be giving a presentation on Salley Mavor’s life-long passion with 3-D embroidery at 1pm. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

This activity is funded by The Arts Partnership, with support from the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo and from Sanford Health and the Minnesota State Arts Board
