Join us for our annual meeting of the membership on Thursday, May 29, at 7pm. We are trying something new with a dessert meeting instead of a formal dinner which seems to have waned in popularity. The Board of Directors has selected Dr. Carroll Engelhardt to be awarded the Clay County Heritage Award due to his amazing scholarship on important Clay County history topics including the books The Farm at Holstein Dip: An Iowa Boyhood, Gateway to the Northern Plains: Railroads and the Birth of Fargo and Moorhead, and By the Sweat of His Brow: The R.M. Probstfield Family at Oakport Farm. Engelhardt will also give the keynote address on Probstfield after a short business meeting during which Board members will be elected*.
Please reserve your place for this fun evening here.
$20 per person contributes to all expenses including dessert, room rental, linens, and award engraving.
*Only active HCSCC members can vote in the election.
