The Historical & Cultural Society of Clay County houses tens of thousands of photos, books, manuscripts, newspapers, and other records relating to Clay County's past. These are available for use by the general public and there is no charge.
Phone, mail and email requests are welcomed with a $20.00 per hour charge (half-hour minimum). This fee includes up to five photocopies and postage. Advance payment is required. Members receive a 50% discount on all research and photocopy charges. Most materials can be photocopied at 20 cents per letter-size page and 40 cents per 11x17 copy. Other material specific charges are on a case-by-case basis.

A History of Clay and Norman Counties
This is a collection of biographical sketches of more than 650 residents of Clay and Norman Counties. The sketches include a lot of good genealogical information and more than 80 photographs, all available for downloading and printing.
