In collaboration with Drekker Brewing Company, the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County presents the first of our summer lecture series “Parlor Talks,” a combination of local history, food, and beer at the Hjemkomst Center.
On Tuesday, May 23, Viking Connection Director and Norsk Høstfest Viking Village Coordinator Tim Jorgensen will share his research and fascination with Viking Age art. The evening will include Viking Age food from the Rex Cafe, local beer from Drekker Brewing Company, a 90-minute history, and tours of the HCSCC museum.
Admission is $15 ($10 for members) and that includes food and the first beverage (ages 21+).
